Source TEN had a six person crew to tackle this production over the course of three filming days. Talent, volunteer background extras, and the Milwaukee Police Department collaborated with the crew and MATC public safety to bring this piece to life. All B-roll was shot handheld to add tension to the scenes, and a steadicam with a teleprompter was used for moving A-roll scripted scenes. We had limited background extras, so each shot was carefully blocked out to ensure the frame was always filled. It's a very sensitive topic, so our Director worked closely with MATC Public Safety and MPD to ensure scenes were portrayed correctly and the characters were reacting appropriately to the situation. For the Fight scene, a replica Glock 19 was used for the shooter's weapon, and we used a foam replica fire extinguisher double, to not injure the shooter actor.
