Prime Financial
The Goal
Prime Financial came to Source TEN looking to speak to the Hispanic & English markets with an engaging and inviting TV commercial, with the goal of building their brand and inviting new customers to their Milwaukee based credit union.
The goal was to create a whimsical story that pulls audiences in and gets them to connect to a character and imagine themselves being able to buy a home with the help of Prime Financial.
Creative Approach
We wanted the viewer to be thrust into the world of a child's mind exploring a new home. He was imagining himself as a jungle explorer, so we added graphic overlays in a stop-motion-like crayon style so the viewer can experience what he sees on his adventure. Plants, trees, butterflies, and more sprout up from the moving boxes and furniture.
Production Story
Source TEN had a four-person crew to tackle this production in one filming day. We collaborated with the client to secure talent, location, and props. The home was completely empty and needed to be filled with items to make it look like the family was just beginning to move in. After the lunch break, the son and daughter talent happened to create a fun authentic moment, which was later recreated as the Toy Box “car” scene.
The team's flexibility to change the scheduled production plan to this new idea, resulted in a much more authentic piece that connects more deeply to the audience. The character’s imagination was inspired by the director's own childhood memories of playing with cardboard boxes and imaginative worlds.
